Residents in Jackson’s Sixth Ward have an upcoming opportunity to meet with their City Council representative and learn the latest news from their neighborhood. City Councilmember Will Forgrave is holding a neighborhood meeting for the Sixth Ward at the Ella Sharp Park Golf Course Clubhouse on Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 6:00 p.m.
Councilmember Forgrave organized the meeting for residents to learn about the new Group Violence Intervention program, the Fall Loose Leaf Collection Program, and the recently-formed Racial Equity Commission. The councilmember will also answer resident questions about City activities.
The Ella Sharp Park Golf Course Clubhouse is located at 2800 Fourth Street. All Jackson residents are welcome to attend.
