N. Elm Avenue between E. North Street to Seymour Avenue is closing to traffic starting Monday, June 10 for a construction project. This busy street on Jackson's northeast side will see a street resurfacing project, along with sidewalk, curb and drain repairs.
N. Elm Avenue will be closed to all traffic through early July. Residents in the construction zone will still be able to reach homes. A detour will take drivers to Seymour Avenue to get around the closure.
This street is rapidly deteriorating so we are looking forward to providing a smooth surface for this important gateway to our community.
