City Council Meeting Information

Jackson City Council meetings are held on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m in the 2nd Floor City Council Chambers of Jackson City Hall, 161 W. Michigan Ave. Jackson, MI 49201. Residents may participate in live broadcasts by watching meetings on Comcast Cable Channel 21, the City website, and the City YouTube page. Recordings of meetings are available on the City website following meetings. 

Residents wanting to provide comments during Citizen Comment time must come in-person to speak to the council. Statements must be under 3 minutes in length. 

Meeting agendas and minutes can be found in the City's online Agenda Center.  Meeting cancelations and other changes will be posted in the City Meeting and Event Calendar. 

A notification will be posted at City Hall and on the City website if a special meeting of the Jackson City Council is organized. The following dates have been approved by the Jackson City Council for 2026 meeting dates.
