With the ending of the City's COVID-19 Local State of Emergency, in-person meetings of the Jackson City Council are resuming. The City Council will hold its first in-person meeting since Feb. 2020 in the City Council Chambers of Jackson City Hall. The meeting is happening Tuesday, July 13 at 6:30 p.m.
Residents are welcome to attend the meeting in-person. They may also participate virtually by watching a live broadcast on Comcast Cable Channel 21, the City website, and the City Facebook page.
All board and commission meetings returned to meeting in-person following July 1, 2021. In-person meetings were suspended in March 2020 due to local and State of Michigan COVID-19 restrictions. Mayor Derek Dobies concluded the City's Local State of Emergency on July 1, ending the need for officials to meet virtually.
