There's now an easier email for residents to use for submitting comments to the City Council for citizen comment time and hearings.
The email address comments@cityofjackson.org was created to provide residents with a simpler address to use.
The previous email address for comments, citizencomments@cityofjackson.org, is still active and will be redirected to the new email.
Citizen comments for City Council meetings must still be under 3 minutes in length and will continue to be read aloud by the City Clerk during the meeting.
