Residents in Jackson’s Fifth Ward have an upcoming opportunity to meet with their City Council representative and learn the latest news from their neighborhood. City Councilmember Christy May Davis is holding a neighborhood meeting for the Fifth Ward on Saturday, April 26, 11:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church.
The meeting is for residents to get information about blight reduction efforts from the Community Development Department, along with updates from Councilmember Davis.
Ward 5 covers the western half of Downtown Jackson and its surrounding neighborhoods. All residents are welcome to attend. First Presbyterian Church is located at 743 W. Michigan Ave. Participants are asked to use the building's back door off the rear parking lot.
