Local families are invited to hop into Easter fun with a community Easter Egg Hunt! The free event organized by the Jackson Police Department, Group Violence Intervention, and the Jackson Parks and Recreation Department is happening at Loomis Park on Saturday, April 12.
The hunt begins at 10:00 a.m. for children ages 3 to 5. Ages 6 to 8 will start at 11:00 a.m. Participants will be treated to eggs filled with candy and chances to win McDonald’s gift cards and Easter baskets. This will also be an opportunity to meet City of Jackson police officers and firefighters.
The event is made possible through partnerships with Walmart and McDonald’s. Loomis Park is located at 210 Gilbert St. Parking is available in the lot off Edgewood Street.
