S. MLK Drive in the City of Jackson is closing to traffic on Monday, June 10 for a sewer repair. The City’s Engineering Division is closing the street from Prospect Street to High Street so crews can safely repair the sanitary sewer system underneath the street surface.
The closure will begin the morning of Monday, June 10 and last through Friday, June 14. S. MLK Drive is a main thoroughfare on Jackson’s South Side, connecting residential neighborhoods to Downtown Jackson. This section of S. MLK Drive is currently receiving lead service line replacements.
