S. Elm Avenue will be closed to all through traffic on Tuesday, May 14 for a water service replacement at a residence. S. Elm will be closed from E. Michigan Avenue to Page Avenue starting Tuesday morning. The closure is needed so crews from the Department of Public Works can safely install a new water service without traffic interruptions.
The street is expected to reopen Tuesday evening. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained through the closure. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
