Residents in Jackson’s Second Ward have an upcoming opportunity to meet with their City Council representative and learn the latest news from their neighborhood. City Councilmember Freddie Dancy is holding a neighborhood meeting for the City’s Second Ward on Tuesday, June 27, 6:30 p.m. at the Boos Recreation Center.
Councilmember Dancy organized the meeting for residents to learn about new homes being built in the City, upcoming street construction projects in the neighborhood, and a breakdown of how City taxes are used.
Ward 2 covers Jackson's east side neighborhoods and the eastern half of Downtown Jackson. All residents are welcome to attend. The Boos Recreation Center is located at 210 Gilbert St.
