Water Main Break in S. Thompson Street area
The City of Jackson Department of Public Works is working to resolve a water main break in a west side neighborhood. The water main break is located in the 700 block of S. Thompson Street between W. Morrell Street and Carlton Boulevard. This may result in low water pressure and discolored tap water. The water is safe to use, but could discolor laundry if you are washing clothes. City crews are working to fix the water main break as soon as possible, and expect to have everything repaired the evening of Monday, Sept. 18. Thanks for your patience as we work to resolve this water main break.
