Facilities

The PAKA Trail is a connector trail in Jackson's pedestrian trail system. Starting at New Leaf Park, the trail runs beside Fourth Street and Horton Road, and can be used to reach local businesses, Middle School at Parkside, Ella Sharp Park, and Sharp Park Academy. At the City Limits near Park Road, the trail transitions into a pedestrian trail operated by Summit Township, which can be used to reach the Falling Waters Trail. 

The trail was completed in 2018 and was funded by the Weatherwax Foundation and a State of Michigan Department of Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant.
