In July 2021, the City of Jackson was granted $31,444,000 in American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds. These funds were available from the federal government to communities across the country to assist in recovery efforts from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. $31.4 million was given to the City of Jackson based on our population size and other factors.
All of the City of Jackson's funds were allocated to projects and programs by April 25, 2023. This means there are no ARP funds left to spend.
Jackson's ARP Spending
A list of ARP spending is available on this page. All spending was proposed by City staff and approved by the Jackson City Council during open meetings. The City is working with a consulting firm to make sure City Council allocations meet the federal government's specifications for ARP spending.
