  1. Jackson City Council - VIRTUAL MEETING

    May 11, 2021, 6:30 PM

    Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, City Council meetings are being held virtually until further notice. Residents may participate in meetings by watching live broadcasts on Comcast Cable Channel 21, the City website, and the City Facebook page. Recordings of meetings are available on the City website following meetings. Residents wishing to submit comments for a public hearing or citizen comment time are asked to please submit written comments to the City Clerk's Office using the email comments@cityofjackson.org. The comments will be read aloud during the meeting by the City Clerk. They must be under 3 minutes in length. Meeting agendas and minutes can be found in the City's online Agenda Center.

  2. Wastewater Treatment Plant Project Plan - VIRTUAL HEARING

    May 11, 2021, 6:30 PM @ Virtual hearing.

    The City is seeking a State of Michigan grant to fund the renovations at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The first step in seeking that funding is holding a public hearing for residents to give input on the plan. The hearing will take place during the Tuesday, May 11 virtual Jackson City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. It will be live-streamed on the City’s website, Facebook page, and Comcast Cable Channel 21. The project plan can be viewed on the City website at cityofjackson.org/wastewater-treatment-plant. Jackson residents are invited to submit written comments on the proposed project plan. All comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on May 11 to be considered as part of the public record. Written comments may be mailed or placed in the drop box in front of City Hall: City of Jackson, Attn: City Clerk, 161 W Michigan Ave, Jackson, MI 49201, or emailed to comments@cityofjackson.org. Links to the official hearing notice and project plan are included with this calendar event.
