Join volunteers from People for the Parks and Trails as we gather on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 1 p.m. to clean up Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. This is the last park project of the 2021 season! Seeing as this event is scheduled for Halloween, this is a great way to have some spooky fun and help the community at the same time.
Volunteers can expect to help pick up litter, remove fallen tree branches/sticks, and clear leaves from grave sites.
Mt. Evergreen Cemetery is located at 1047 Greenwood Ave. Meet volunteers at the main entrance near the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Morrell Street.
Equipment will be provided by the Parks and Recreation Dept. Contact peoplefortheparksjackson@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Please provide a phone number so you can be reached if there are any changes to the event. Indicate if you'd prefer a text message or a phone call.
Please provide an email address so you can get updates about People for the Parks and Trails activities.
