Betty's Dog Park is Jackson's only public dog park! It is open to all residents and pets to use for free. It's located at the intersection of N. Blackstone Street and Van Buren Street, which is walking distance to Downtown Jackson. The dog park is fully fenced with a secure gate system and has separate areas for big and small dogs. The park also features walking paths, picnic tables and shade trees. 

The dog park is located within Beech Tree Park. This area was repurposed in 2021 after the original park's centerpiece, an award-winning beech tree, was removed due to a lighting strike. This dog park is made possible by the generous support of long-time Jackson resident Betty Dahlem Desbiens.
