Rental housing inspections in the City of Jackson have been suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

On Friday, April 3, the City of Jackson Neighborhood and Economic Operations Department announced this change to their operations.

Due to the State of Michigan’s Stay Safe, Stay Home Executive Order 2020-21 and suspension of non-essential City services, rental housing inspections are suspended until further notice and will be rescheduled in the future.

Residents are asked to check the City’s website or Facebook page for updated information on when rental inspections will resume.
