Jackson Police Memorial Scheduled

The Jackson Police Department, in conjunction with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department and the Michigan State Police, will be holding its annual police memorial service on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 12:00 noon. This service will be held at Bucky Harris Park in downtown Jackson at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Jackson Street.
Jackson County Sheriff Steve Rand will be the keynote speaker. The general public is welcome to this special service, commemorating those Jackson officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at the Jackson County Commission Chambers located at 120 W. Michigan Ave.
