Officer Goings was sent to the 500 block of Harwood for an attempted B&E. The victim was home when he heard something downstairs. He then found the window in the door to the basement was broken and a screen in a window was cut. No entry was gained and therefore nothing was stolen.
Officers Scarpino and Goings were sent to a building on the Sharp Park Golf Course for an alarm. They found an entry door had been kicked in, however nothing appeared to have been taken.
Officers Scarpino and Hibbard were sent to the area of Southridge Park for several shots fired in the area. Nothing was located to substantiate the call.
Officer Burkart took a strong arm robbery report in the area of Fourth and Biddle. The victim was walking in the area when approached by the suspect who asked for money. When the victim refused, the suspect then asked to use the victim's phone. The victim again refused, and the suspect took the cell phone and left the area on a bicycle.
