Activity for April 25, 2012

Officers made 3 arrests, conducted 16 traffic stops, and were dispatched to 69 calls for service.

Officers investigated a retail fraud at Kohl's. One suspect provided a false name, however her true identity was learned. Both suspects were lodged at the Jackson County Jail on outstanding warrants.

Officer Rose conducted foot patrol in the area of Dewey and Sparks.

Officer Morgan was sent to the 100 block of Mitchell St. for several juveniles attempting to start a fight. Morgan contacted the juveniles and defused the situation.

Officers were dispatched to Corner's Party Store for an armed robbery. The suspect entered the store, showed a handgun, and demanded cash. The investigation into this robbery is ongoing.
