The City of Jackson is fortunate to have not one, but two full-service recreation centers under the management of the Parks, Recreation and Grounds Department. The King Community Center and Boos Community Center both offer recreational services and programs for all age groups year-round. Each center provides a number of youth after-school and weekend activities, as well as adult recreational sports programs. The King Community Center now has a dedicated exercise facility and computer center as well.

For information on the 50+ Senior Travel Program, contact the Boos Community Center (788-4064) on Mondays or Fridays from 9:30 am to 2:00pm.
