Outdoor Burning

The City of Jackson Fire Department has a strict mandate regarding outdoor burning. Jackson City Ordinance Code Policy states:

Section F-403.0 Outdoor burning.
“Outdoor incineration of refuse, leaves, paper, or any other combustible waste material is prohibited; provided, however, that this ordinance shall not be deemed to prohibit the use of any citizen or entity of any barbecue, grill, or other appliance primarily designed for outdoor cooking.”
