after June 30, 2006
RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, on May 23,
2006, pursuant to the authority conferred upon it by the Charter of the
City of Jackson, Chapter 27, Article IV, Section 27-107 and 27-108 of
the City Code, that all user charges billed by the City of Jackson Water
Billing Office shall be adjusted for water and wastewater service
furnished after June 30, 2006, as follows:
1. Water and sewer
bills shall be based on quarterly meter readings and billed quarterly
except that commercial and industrial bills may, at the discretion of
the Director of Public Services, be based on monthly meter readings and
billed monthly.
2. For the purpose of
reading meters and rendering bills for service the Director of Public
Services shall divide the City into three districts of approximately
equal size, plus a fourth district which includes commercial and
