Revised Fall Leaf
Pickup Schedule - begins 10/29/2007
Beginning October
29th, DPW will be starting the annual leaf pickup program.
Leaves may be raked into the gutter – a few days prior to the
posted scheduled date. See the posted map for pick up dates in
your area. Two (2) rounds are scheduled this year! Leaves placed
in biodegradable paper bags must be set near the curb, but
not in the street. Please don’t park vehicles on the street the
day of the scheduled pickup and until after the crews have been
through the area. Parked vehicles in the path of removal
equipment make it difficult for DPW crews to pick up all the
leaves. FOR MORE INFORMATION – Contact DPW at 788-4170 |

The City has been
divided into sections – major streets have been noted for
boundary purposes. You can find out when DPW will be in
your area by looking at the section map – if the street you live
on falls within the boundaries of that section – the date noted
is the pickup date for that section. NOTE: A complete round will
be done according to the dates on the map, weather permitting.
Leaves can be raked into
the gutter a few days before the posted date.

street. Leaves can be bagged in biodegradable paper bags and
brought to the DPW compost recycling site at 521 Water Street
until its closing date of Friday, December 7th, 2007. |

the street along the curb a few days prior to pickup date
- Biodegradable paper bags set near
the curb – NOT in street
- Small branches & twigs bundled and
tied with biodegradable twine –maximum bundle: 24” long, 12”
diameter
Public Works crews will be collecting
leaves raked into the street in these areas on the noted days. Cars
should be moved off the street on the day of collection.
You may see DPW crews in your area before October 22nd. They will be
