City residents showing proper
identification (ie Drivers license, etc.) BEFORE dropping off - may
bring "2" different types of recyclable materials to the Department of
Public Works - organic / compostable material and metal. Organic
material includes grasses, twigs, leaves, brush, small tree limbs and
other yard vegetation. Metal items cannot contain any compressed
gases. This is for City residents' use - not commercial, business,
rental properties or other income purposes.
How much can you bring?
5 biodegradable paper bags per week. ALL yard waste must be in
bags. No other type of container or loose bundle will be accepted.
Absolutely NO truck or trailer loads or loose items accepted.
Check in at the front office is
required prior to drop off.
The program this year will begin
April 6th, 2009 and run through December 11th, 2009
Location: 521 Water Street
between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm daily, (except holidays and
weekends)
