Looking
to buy property in the City of Jackson? The land you want may be owned by the City of Jackson! The City of Jackson has residential, commercial and industrial
parcels of land available for sale. Many are identified with signs indicating they are owned by the
City. Some properties have come to the City from a tax reversion process (Failure to pay property taxes).
Most sales are subject to a development agreement that specifies how and
when the property will be developed.
The City Council recently adopted a City-Owned Property Disposition Policy.
