you plan on building on your property in the City of Jackson, you are at

Building Division reviews plans for new construction and improvements,
receives and processes permit applications and inspects work covered by
those permits. Please call us to find out when review plans and permits
are needed and what to bring with you to obtain plan review approval or
file for a permit . Permits can be
issued within 24 hours if all information conforms to requirements.
Contractors
must be registered by the City of Jackson Building Division. To
register, each contractor must bring their State of Michigan
certification and the appropriate fee to the Building Division.
