2004-2007 EPA ASSESSMENT GRANT - CLOSED
Through the JBRA, over a dozen
properties were assessed using the US EPA Hazardous Substance and
Petroleum Assessment Grants in 2004-2007. Grant funds have leveraged
private investment in several industrial and commercial sites, resulting
in a retention of 350 jobs and creation of 60-80 new jobs. Assessment
funds leveraged $33,500 in privately funded environmental assessment
activities and $8.3 million in private investment.
