The Jackson City Council met in special session in the Ella Sharp Museum Community Room at 3225 Fourth Street, Jackson, Michigan, on February 16, 2009, to participate in a Town Hall meeting.
Present: Mayor Jerry F. Ludwig and Councilmembers Robert B. Howe, Kenneth E. Gaiser, Andrew R. Frounfelker and John R. Polaczyk--5. Absent: Councilmembers Carl L. Breeding and Daniel P. Greer-2.
The meeting convened at 7:04 p.m. with opening remarks by Karen F. Dunigan, Jackson Citizens for Economic Growth (JCEG) Board Member. Cassandra Wilkins, QUESTIONS (a committee of young professionals of Jackson) Chair of Economic Development, introduced committee members. A leadership presentation was given by Cassandra Kramer, Co-founder of QUESTIONS and Chair of Public Relations.
Ms. Dunigan introduced the Mayor and Councilmembers and a panel discussion, moderated by Kathy Schmaltz, commenced. The meeting concluded at 8:32 p.m.
