SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

MAY 11, 2011

CALL TO ORDER.

The Jackson City Council met in special session in the Council Chambers in City Hall and was called to order by Mayor Karen F. Dunigan at 6:03 p.m.

ROLL CALL.

Present: Mayor Karen F. Dunigan and Councilmembers Carl L. Breeding, Kenneth E. Gaiser, Andrew R. Frounfelker and John R. Polaczyk—5. Absent at Roll Call: Councilmembers Robert B. Howe and Daniel P. Greer--2. (They arrived at 6:20 p.m.)

Also present: City Manager Warren D. Renando, City Attorney Julius A. Giglio and City Clerk Lynn Fessel.

ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA.

Motion was made by Councilmember Polaczyk and seconded by Councilmember Gaiser to adopt the agenda. The motion was adopted by the following vote. Yeas: Mayor Dunigan and Councilmembers Breeding, Gaiser, Frounfelker and Polaczyk—5. Nays: 0. Absent: Councilmembers Howe and Greer--2.

CITIZEN COMMENTS.

None.

REVIEW OF DEPARTMENT BUDGETS.

The City Manager, with the Council and Department Heads, reviewed and discussed General Fund revenue and expenditure line items, along with pages 235 through 250 of the Internal Service Funds. Councilmembers Howe and Greer arrived at 6:20 p.m. during the discussion. Council also took a brief recess at 7:47 p.m. and reconvened at 7:59 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT.

No further business being presented, a motion was made by Councilmember Howe and seconded by Councilmember Greer to adjourn the meeting. The motion was adopted by unanimous voice vote and the meeting adjourned at 8:58 p.m.
