It is my honor to serve as the Jackson City Manager. Our City of 33,534 residents has a proud heritage of being the “Home of the Republican Party,” the custodian of many beautiful parks, golf courses, and a vibrant inviting downtown and arts community. We are centrally located off of I-94 between Detroit and Chicago giving the residents of Jackson the ease of enjoying not only the local stores and restaurants, but also the larger metropolitan area and the region.
Most recently the City has implemented a proactive approach to address blight utilizing local, state, and federal funds. The program has resulted in the removal of numerous abandoned, deteriorated houses and buildings, which has provided not only necessary neighborhood green space and a more aesthetically attractive living environment for the citizens of our community, but potential land for economic redevelopment. Please join our staff and the distinguished individuals that serve on our Boards, Commissions, and the City Council in celebrating the City of Jackson’s continued economic and social resurgence.
