About the Grant
Between 2004 and 2012, the Jackson Brownfield Redevelopment Authority assessed more than a 36 properties for use with US EPA Hazardous Substance and Petroleum Assessment Grants. The grants allowed a number of private entities to leverage investments for the redevelopment of both commercial and industrial properties. These investments, totaling more than $20 million, resulted in the retention and creation of over 400 jobs.
